ABOUT THE FOUNDER AND THE COMPANY
Hi! My name is Philipp Busch and I am the founder of Mind Games.
I am a game designer, author and international keynote speaker. In spring 2018, I completed my doctoral thesis on "Gamification and Serious Games in Development Cooperation". I was teaching game-based approaches and agile methods at the University of Mainz and I am a certified Scrum Master and Design Thinking Coach. In the past, I have been working in the field of international cooperation for nine years with a special focus on Gamification, Serious Games and interactive digital learning scenarios. In 2020, I founded my own consulting company and worked closely with various actors in international cooperation. My company Mind Games GmbH supports institutions such as the UN, EU, FES, GIZ or the private sector in implementing innovative learning scenarios in heterogeneous contexts, e.g. in Yemen, China, Afghanistan and a variety of African countries. Mind Games was founded in 2021 and is based in Mainz, Germany. We believe in the power of Gamification & Serious Games for awareness raising, capacity building and behavior change. We make use of these powerful tools to react to the challenges of the 21st century. We feel responsible to contribute to social good and the regeneration of this planet. Therefore, we are establishing a global community and defined the following pillars as an integral part of our work.
